POLYSOFT-OC is a non-yellowing, cationic softener imparting soft and supple handle to fabric. It is applicable to cotton as well as cotton / synthetic blends.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS :

» APPEARANCE: Off white to pale cream paste.
» IONIC NATURE: Cationic.
» SOLUBILITY: Dispersible in water.
» pH(1% Aq.dispersion): 4 - 6.

APPLICATION :
|
|
|
|
|
|
Ensure proper dilution, first with equal quantity of hot water and then dilute it to required strength for proper dispersion.
Continuous application can be made with 10 to 30g/l depending on pickup to obtain 0.5 to 2.0% owf. The same ratio can be opted for resin finishing.
DOSAGE: 0.5 to 2.0% owf.
pH: 4.5 to 5.5
TEMPERATURE: 40 to 50°C
TIME: 15 to 20 minutes.
LIQUOR RATIO: 5:1 to 15:1

POLYSOFT-NI(Spl.) is a nonionic softener especially useful in Resin finishing to overcome loss in tensile strength and to achieve wash-n-wear finish which is top priority requirement in modern dress wear varieties.

» Especially suitable for white goods.
» Imparts smooth handle and desired softness to the fabric.
» Non-yellowing tendency even at high temperature involved in curing and dyeing stages. Therfore suitable for resin finishing of white goods with shock cure process.
» POLYSOFT-NI(Spl.) is compatible with cationic and anionic agents.
» In combined application with optical brightening agents, it gives outstanding brightness in treated fabric.
» Has no effect on the shade or the light fastness of dyeing. It can be applied in the dye bath as lubricant too.

APPLICATION :
|
|
|
|
|
|
POLYSOFT-NI(Spl.) can be used for all types of fibres and fabrics to achieve soft and full handle. It can be applied by padding and exhaustion methods as a soft self finish or in combination with other ingredients and optical brightening agents.
As a self finish
By padding : POLYSOFT-NI(Spl.) 10 - 30g/l with 80% pickup, dry at 150°C to 180°C for 60 to 90 seconds.
By exhaust : POLYSOFT-NI(Spl.) 23% at about 50°C for 15 to 20 minutes.
